Brad Paisley is still on the road after months of exhaustive touring, but he is finally coming up on his final leg of the continuous party trail. An impressive 200,000 tickets have already been sold for the remaining 25 concert dates (the final show will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, in March 2009). All told, when it officially draws to a close, the Paisley Party Tour will have played to more than 60 cities. Some dates that are now on paper during his final leg include: January 22 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas; January 24 at the BOK center in Tulsa, Oklahoma; February 13 at the Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Ontario and the Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta on February 20. For the January dates of the tour, Hootie and the Blowfish frontman, Darius Rucker, will open and Crystal Shawanda will open for all of the February shows. Don't miss one of his upcoming shows, and get your own pair of Brad Paisley tickets.
Brad Paisley is a Grammy Award-winning country music singer and songwriter. He got a lift in the industry after the release of his 1999 album, Who Needs Pictures. The album spawned four hit singles: "Who Needs Pictures," "He Didn't Have to Be," "Me Neither" and "We Danced." "He Didn't Have to Be" achieved the number one spot on the charts, marking a good start for the aspiring country superstar. Paisley also received his first Grammy nomination for this effort.
In 2001, he released his second album, called Part II, which was also rich with popular singles. Those songs included: "I Wish You'd Stay," "Wrapped Around" and "Two People Fell in Love," all of these ballads charted in the Top 10 on the charts, further solidifying Paisley's stance in the industry.
Paisley's third album came in the form of Mud on the Tires, which dropped in 2003. The album features the hit song "Celebrity," as well as the title track which reached the number one spot on the Billboard chart in 2004. Time Well Wasted arrived in 2006 and again created a stir within the industry. It eventually won the Country Music Association Award for Best Album. Following up on his run of successes over the years, Paisley released his fifth studio album in 2007, this one called 5th Gear. Two popular hits emerged in the forms of "Letter to Me" and "I'm Still a Guy."
Brad Paisley's most recent album arrived dropped on November 4, 2008. Entitled Play, it features a duet between Paisley and Keith Urban called "Start a Band." The album also features collaborations with James Burton, Vince Gill, B.B. King and Albert Lee.
There is no denying the obvious fact that Brad Paisley has emerged as one of modern country's greats. His concerts are usually sold out events that feature a wide array of devoted fans, so if you are planning on experiencing his music live, be sure to get in line early to grab hold of your ticket stub.
